Our soccer team lost 2-1 to a strong Adamstown team in AUL Clonshaugh last week. We took the lead and had a few chances to go further ahead in the first half but Adamstown scored midway through the second half and got the winner with 2 minutes to go. The team battled bravely to salvage an equaliser but their keeper kept us at bay. Each and every one of the players performed heroically throughout and can be very proud of themselves. They were a credit to their families and their school. Aaron Murphy-Dunne scored our goal on the day while Aaron Meleady played his heart out for his team.
