Soccer Champions!

We are the City Division 4 champions after an absorbing 2-0 extratime victory over Walkinstown today in Richmond Park, Inchicore, the home of St Patrick's Athletic. It was a very close game with both defences doing very well to keep attackers at bay. Glensoulan Hike

It was the turn of Mr.Fahy's and Mr.O'Rourke's classes to go on a hike this week. The boys walked from Crone Wood to Glensoulan and had a beautiful view of Powerscourt Waterfall, Ireland's highest waterfall. The senior boys who came along on the hike to help proudly pointed out Djouce which they climbed the week before. The boys returned over the side of Maulin to Crone Wood.

Djouce Hike

Mr Booth took Mr Lane's and Ms Purcell's classes on a hike last week. We walked, climbed, ran, fell and huffed our way to rough terrain and steep gradients for 90 minutes before reaching the summit of Djouce at lunchtime where we took a welcome break. We then descended the other slope of Djouce before making our way back to the bus via a forest track. Everyone had a brilliant if tiring day out....

Football Season 2016

Our school soccer team has reached the Division 4 Final this year. We will probably be up against St. Laurence O'Toole's in the final if, as expected, they win their semi-final. We have already lost twice to them in our group so it will take a huge effort to beat them but we will try our best.
