Carol Service

On Tuesday evening at 6 pm we had our annual Christmas Carol service in the parish church. The church was packed with mammies,daddies,brothers,sisters,aunts, grandas and of course the people who run Ringsend the nanas. They came to hear and see their best boy sing with his schoolmates. Wallabies meet Mr.Lane’s Class

Glensoulan Hike

It was the turn of Mr.Fahy's and Mr.O'Rourke's classes to go on a hike this week. The boys walked from Crone Wood to Glensoulan and had a beautiful view of Powerscourt Waterfall, Ireland's highest waterfall. The senior boys who came along on the hike to help proudly pointed out Djouce which they climbed the week before. The boys returned over the side of Maulin to Crone Wood.

All the Way from California

Some of you may remember Andrea Lynch from California who taught in the school in 1989. Just before Christmas she dropped into the school with her husband and two sons. She has fond memories of teaching in Ringsend. Andrea was asking for her old pupils Gerry, Colm, Pierce,  Tom, Martin, Ryan, Eric, James (Hooley) and all. Warren does well

  The school was delighted to hear that past pupil Warren Behan graduated recently from DCU with  a Bachelors Degree in Engineering (Hons). Warren when he was in the school was the most enthusiastic pupil who took part in all aspects of school life. His parents must be very proud of him. Well done Warren.

Senior Infants win Tesco Art competition!

Earlier this month Senior Infants entered the Tesco/Daily Mail European Championship 2012 Art competition.... and we are very happy to announce that we are  prize winners!!!! The competition was open to everyone aged 4-16 years so we are very proud of our class for receiving a prize. Damien was also an overall winner so well done to him! A big thanks to Tesco Sandymount for our prizes!
