Mr Booth and Mr O’Rourke supervised a group of boys constructing and painting wooden boxes for birds to nest in. The group then went to Kilakee woods to put the boxes up in the trees there. They found bird-boxes some past-pupils had made around ten years ago and were delighted to see they were still being used by birds to nest in. The boys really enjoyed this project and huge thanks are due to Mr Booth for giving of his time and expertise to bring it to fruition.
