Mr.Lane, Mr. Booth and the 5th and 6th have been doing some serious hiking since the weather finally improved this year. Lough Dan was our first hike and it was easy enough, then on Ms. Farrelly’s recommendation we did Glendalough. The scenery was spectacular.
Our next hike was Maulin but instead of starting at Crone Wood we began at Calary which is our usual starting point for Djouce. 3rd and 4th came with us as did Mr. Flynn our student teacher. We hiked up Glensoulan and climbed the southern side of Maulin. It was hard going because there are no real paths on that side but we did it.
