The boys from Mr Fahy’s class recently had an exhibition of their watercolour paintings in the school hall. The project, part of our Creative Ireland work, was curated by artists Heather Gray and Sara. The boys learned about the history of the chimneys, visited the site and photographed them before drawing and then painting them. Their framed paintings were displayed in an innovative and interactive way in the school hall where they were viewed and appreciated by parents and visitors. We were all very impressed by the quality of the paintings.
