Dressing up for Halloween – First Class
First Class had such fun on Friday being dressed up

Celebrities in Ringsend
2nd class and Miss Purcell had the opportunity to meet the sports champion Sonia O Sullivan and possible new president Gay Mitchell on Tuesday 24/10/’11 in the school hall. The celebrities were very kind to the boys and shook all of their hands. The meeting was so successful that 2nd class made it on to the tv3 evening news. Who knows one day one of the boys in 2nd class maybe the future president!!!.
Halloween art with Ms Sherry 🙂
Great fun was had today in Senior Infants Ms Sherry came into ur classroom and made some spooky Halloween art with the boys. We made scary trick or treat bags for Halloween and a spiderweb to hang up at home! Ms Sherry also filled our bags with some yummy treats 🙂 So a big THANK YOU!!! Also thank you to ‘HORRID’ Henry for helping out!!!

2nd class would like to thank Sarah for reading lots of scary stories about Halloween to us in the library. She also brought in lots of Halloween treats for us. We hope Sarah has a fangtastic Halloween!!!!!
Friday Fun!
Last Friday – we had a very special visitor to our class. Raquel came back to see us and read a lovely story.. Marley and the Kittens. The boys really enjoyed it and it was a great treat – many thanks to Raquel! We also had a very special 6th Birthday in the class, with yummy cake 🙂

Prizes for AIB Colouring Competition
[slideshow id=47]In September, First Class all entered a colouring
competition run by AIB, Sandymount.
To our delight on Thursday the 20th October,
a representative came down and delivered
a box of goodies for each boy because of their
beautiful pictures!

Halloween Art!!
Ms Sherry will be coming into our classroom on Monday next 24th Oct from 11.30 – 12.30 to do some fun halloween art with the boys. Parents are very welcome to come into the classroom for this session… pictures to follow!!!
