Author Book Signing

5th and 6th classes walked to Liberty Hall on Friday morning to meet Frank Cottrell Boyce. The author read from his latest book and fielded questions from the hundreds of pupils about the writing process. His latest book is a sequel to ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ called ‘Chitty Flies again’. A previous book of his, ‘Millions’, was made into a very successful movie by ‘Trainspotting’ director, Danny Boyle. He also wrote screenplays for famous film director Michael Winterbottom and previously wrote for Coronation Street and Brookside. The boys loved the talk and are eager to write books of their own in the future after listening to Frank talk about his work.
