Mr O’Rourke’s class had a brilliant day out on his farm in Tipperary last week. The boys were welcomed by Tom, Terri and family and had a fantastic day experiencing rural life. The boys got to visit an old farmhouse and see old artefacts, paint with potatoes, build walls, run through meadows, do an assault course with bales of hay and straw, ride in a trailer, feed hens, pet calves, lambs and ponies, hammer nails, play football, ride in a horse and trap, drive go-karts and make butter. What a busy day!
Then they were treated to a delicious dinner of shepherd’s pie or bangers and mash. Thank you so much to Mr O’Rourke and his family for their wonder
