You’ve been framed!
The Parents’ Association organised a lovely Art session for the boys in Junior Infants’ this morning. The boys’ parents came in to help decorate picture frames and the boys put their own photos into the frames. Thank you to all involved and it was great to see such a huge turnout of parents.

St Michael’s Bursary
Here are two boys from last year’s 6th class who are now attending St Michael’s College. We are very lucky to have this project in place and they hope to continue the scheme next year which is great news for the current 6th class boys. As you can see, Dylan and Oisin seem at home in their new surroundings. The bursary covers all academic, sporting and other costs which is a huge prize for the lucky recipients. Great to see you looking so happy Oisin and Dylan!

Active Week with Coach Jonathan
Junior and Senior Infants participated in Active week today in the park with Jonathan Tormey. They played warm up games, learnt new football skills and even got to try their hand at some football tricks like Ronaldo and Messi. They even got to play a mini football match at the end.

Charlie’s last day in our school.
Charlie is moving to a new school next week and we are all really going to miss having him around. Laura will be especially lonely without him. We will have a little party to celebrate the great times we shared together here in Ringsend with his classmates. We hope Charlie calls in to visit us whenever he can as he’ll always be one of the gang here in St Patrick’s. Best of luck with everything Charlie!!

Junior Infants Maths and Handwriting
Junior Infants are busy sorting animals into big and small sets.
Also we are learning to write our letters ‘S’ and ‘a’ – using chalkboards, whiteboards and playdough.

4th Class Authors.
Jack, Seán and Joe have been hard at work for the last week or so writing, editing and finally publishing their own novels, complete with illustrations by Klaudiusz and Darragh. The novels are divided into chapters and the boys are very proud of themselves after producing such great stories. They are very grateful to their teacher, Mary, for helping them put their books together.
