The boys from 1st and 2nd had an amazing day on Mr. O’Rourke’s farm in Tipperary. They got to feed the hens, collect eggs, build walls, hammer nails, run through a meadow, find out all about rearing cattle, play football, do an assault course, ride on a pony and cart, pet a goat, go on a trampoline, do an assault course, visit an old house, examine historical artefacts, and eat some delicious home-cooked food. Many thanks to Tom, Terry and all of the family, friends and neighbours for giving us all such a memorable welcome and for helping us have a wonderful day in the sunny countryside.
